HISTORY

Arx possessed a competive spirit, but it did not bode well for working with a team. Born on the planet Thorr'g, Arx enjoyed surpassing his twin brother, especially when Arx was selected for the Green Lantern Corps.

Arx was one of eight Green Lanterns gathered by Lantern Administrator Salakk to prevent Honor Lantern Guy Gardner from disturbing the Guardians of the Universe. Gardner argued he was long overdue for shore leave and demanded to have an audience with the Guardians. Despite their superior numbers, the eight Lanterns were no match for Gardner, who was finally calmed down by Green Lantern Kilowog. Disappointed by their performance, Salakk ordered Arx, G'hu, Krydel-4 and Vandor to combat reorientation.

A veteran of the Sinestro Corps War, Arx lost his life while escorting Sinestro to Korugar for execution. A blast from a yellow power ring signaled the start of the Sinestro Corps' ambush of the Green Lanterns, and the death of Arx.

Arx was memorialized in the Crypts of the Green Lantern Corps on Oa.

BLACK LANTERN: ARX

During the event known as the Blackest Night, black rings desecrated the Crypts. The ring placed itself upon Arx's corpse, downloaded all of his memories and created a duplicate of his body that rose from the grave as a member of the Black Lantern Corps. Blackest Night #1

POWERS AND WEAPONS

As a Green Lantern, Arx possessed a power ring and power battery.
