HISTORY

An initiate into an unusual religious sect, Arella was impregnated by the demonic Trigon, giving birth to an empathic daughter, Raven. Mother and daughter were taken in by the mystics of Azarath who preached peace above all else. Eventually, in a cataclysmic confrontation involving her daughter's friends in the Titans, Arella's life force was joined with that of the young hero Danny Chase to become the mysterious Phantasm.
