HISTORY

Simon Elis found a way to tap into the yellow impurity of Green Lantern Hal Jordan's power ring, which he could then use to do most of the same things the power ring could do. As Elis, he posed as a faith healer while simultaneously leading his henchmen on a series of spectacular crimes; he was eventually defeated when Green Lantern was stopped from recharging his ring, thus allowing Anarchist's own power source to run dry.
