HISTORY
The history of Ahk-Ton is a bit confused but ought to be possible to reconcile. It is believed that he was a Priest (some sources call him a Pharaoh which is not possible) during the 19th Dynasty Egypt, circa 1260 B.C. From a strange meteor he crafted the Orb of Ra, an extremely powerful object with possible godly connections. Exposure to the Orb transformed Ahk-Ton to the first 'metamorph' – a creature with complete control over the elements in his body. However, the transformation was later reversed and Ahk-Ton seemingly slain.
Shortly thereafter, conqueror Vandar Adg found the Orb and apparently used it to revive Ahk-Ton. Vandar and Ahk-Ton declared war against Prince Khufu, but were defeated by Khufu and time-lost members of the JSA. This time, the god Ra himself took action and reverted Ahk-Ton to human. Teth-Adam then killed Ahk-Ton in revenge for having invaded his homeland of Kahndaq and killed his family.
Still another account of Ahk-Ton's villainy places him as human in 20th Dynasty Egypt, circa 1100 B.C., where he rivalled the power of Pharaoh Ramses VII and managed to send the Orb of Ra into the future for it to 'mature' in power. When the Outsiders (II) arrived from the future, Ahk-ton used the Orb to enslave their modern-day Metamorpho. However, Ahk-ton was finally defeated and apparently executed by the Pharaoh. Whether this last account is apocryphal, or whether Ahk-Ton actually returned after 1000 years and the Orb had lost power by the time, is not clear.
