HISTORY

The origin of the blue-skinned, horned being called Acolyte has not been revealed, but he claims to be as old as mankind. The Acolytes believes that his mission is to pave the way for a new god to take over the duty from the One Almighty in order to create a better world.

His last scheme involved an attempt to hypnotise one million children into killing their parents, the act of which would resurrect the Hindu Goddess Kali (whom many, perhaps even the Acolyte, see as a deity of death and violence which is not really accurate). To do that, Acolyte hypnotised kids via the TV cartoon called 'the Hugga-Tugga-Thugees'.

The heroes of Young Justice opposed the Acolyte and his supernatural army, and were able to stop Acolyte's plan. Acolyte, however, fled the scene and hid in human form. (Actually, it seemed as if he was really just an ordinary man in a monstrous disguise). When last seen, the Acolyte was going to pursue his agenda by turning to Cthulhuvian beliefs. If and when he returns remains to be seen.
