HISTORY

The planet Xanshi was first seen as the home planet of Green Lantern Reever who was killed and later replaced in the Corps by the warrior Arkkis Chummuck. It would have remained a mere footnote in history had it not been for its destruction in the great cataclysm known as the Cosmic Odyssey. Its destruction was partly due to the over-confidence of Green Lantern John Stewart, who had been assigned to save the planet from the Anti-Life Equation.

Years later, the surviving Xanshian warrior known as Fatality embarked on a crusade of vengeance on all things Green Lantern. She succeeded in killing several former GLs, but she did not succeed in killing John Stewart or Kyle Rayner and is currently imprisoned on Earth.
