HISTORY

Charlie Wylde, bodyguard and friend of Geoffrey Barron, encountered a maddened bear in Markovia, which tried to kill him. Luckily, or perhaps unluckily, Faust was on hand and saved his life by merging him with the bear.

They and Barron, now calling himself Technocrat, became involved with the Outsiders. As Wylde, Charlie was big, fast, strong, and had trouble controlling his animal instincts, eventually betraying the Outsiders to Felix Faust, after which he was turned into a bear. He now resides in a zoo.
