Comment(s):
- This is the first of a recurring feature with the sons of Superman and Batman. In Superman Family #192/5 (November-December 1978): "My Father, Superman" it was revealed this was a computer simulation. A follow-up story appeared in World's Finest Comics #263 (June-July 1980): "Final Secret of the Super-Sons"
- Despite that, years later the events were established as occurring on an alternate Earth. "Earth-216" was named in Crisis on Infinite Earths: Absolute Edition (November 2005)
- Sparta City is temporarily duplicated by Superman, "slowed in time and space to one day in the past" to be used as part of a test of Superman Jr. and Batman Jr.
