Synopsis: - April, 1792. Following her vision, Isadore seeks out the aged warlock Jerome Clermont, who teaches her in the ways of magic for the best part of the summer. And in her spare time, Isadore passes on her newfound knowledge to her friends Maude and Miro. The lessons stop when Clermont dies, and Isadore’s skills are put to the test when Catherine La Voisine tries to have her murdered. Isadore realizes that she needs the help of her friends to be able to save her beloved, because "witches work better in threes"...
