HISTORY
Wildfire is actually the combined energies of two beings. During a team-up with the Legion of Super-Heroes, the Work Force, and other heroes, the Uncanny Amazer known as Atom'X was killed at the hands of Mordru. However, his energy form survived and merged with the energy of another fallen hero, Blast-Off of the Work Force. The new energy creature called itself 'Drake Burroughs', combining their two names. Binding their energy inside a humanoid-looking suit, the being eventually joined the Legion as Wildfire.
