HISTORY
The Wild Thing was a failed Earth Elemental created by the Parliament of Trees to replace the current Swamp Thing (Alec Holland). The delirious mind of the deceased eco-terrorist Alan Bolland was not a suitable host for the elemental forces, as the Wild Thing ran amuck in his ambition to kill the industrial businessman Morgan Edge. It was eventually destroyed by the Swamp Thing.
