OVERVIEW

Vanessa Van Helsing is the granddaughter of Abraham Van Helsing, the man on whom the character in Bram Stoker's "Dracula" was based. Vanessa is a good but unstable woman, possessed by incredible psychic and occult powers that threatens to destroy the world if unleashed. The journalist and ex-alcoholic Jack Gold is trapped in a loveless marriage with her, and remains her husband to keep her happy – and safe. Baron Winters has made use of the service of both Vanessa and Jack as members of his Night Force.
