HISTORY
An intergalactic researcher, Professor Tipanius Terpis served aboard a small starship, the Tsunami. His fellow researchers and crewmates were Felizia of Felinas-3 and Krik of the Thoraxian Confederacy.
They traveled across the stars for years before coming into contact with the anomaly known as the Blind. It had destroyed six star systems in space sector 2814, which prompted Terpis to contact Green Lantern (Kyle Rayner) on Oa.
They met the Green Lantern in the remains of the Mellifera system. After one of a series of ongoing disagreements with Commander Ashari of C.E.M.A. (the Cosmic Emergency Management Agency), the Tsunami and its crew went with the Green Lantern to Earth, as its sun was now threatened by the Blind. - Green Lantern Vol. 3 #166- #167
Their actions did not go unnoticed. Shiro Nova, a bounty hunter working for the Black Circle Syndicate attacked the Green Lantern and for a short time all seemed lost.
Green Lantern was able to escape Shiro Nova and turn the Blind's own temporal acceleration process against itself and absorbed the residual energy into the ring. Earth, the Sun, and the rest of its solar system were saved. - Green Lantern Vol. 3 #167
Terpis and his crew were on their way back to Space Sector 734 when they stopped at an outpost for supplies. While in an outpost bar, Terpis was overheard mentioning how he had helped Green Lantern defeat the Blind and in doing so caught the attention of Shiro Nova. - Green Lantern Vol. 3 #172
While Shiro Nova would eventually catch up to Green Lantern, the fate of Professor Tipanius Terpis, Felizia, and Krik has yet to be revealed. - Green Lantern Vol. 3 #174- #175
