HISTORY
Rip Hunter's aides in his time-travelling research and self-imposed mission to neutralize Vandal Savage's Illuminati organization included: Rip's friend and colleague Jeff Smith, Cave Carson's mistress Bonnie Baxter and her younger brother Corky, Rip's cousin Dan Hunter, and the hacker Antonia (a.k.a. Tony). The geologist (and Bonnie's lover) Calvin "Cave" Carson was also a close associate of the team.
The Time Masters were not able to destroy Vandal Savage's organization, but they temporarily weakened it. The battle was not without casualties, though. Corky committed suicide because he was not able to avert a dark future; Dan was stranded in the 1770s and became the sidekick of the legendary Tomahawk; Bonnie traveled to the war-torn future of the 2040s and decided to stay there; Rip himself was trapped in the past, but eventually returned to his time-travelling research and adventures. He currently works with the Linear Men and has nothing to to with his former Time Masters teammates.
[Pre-Crisis, the "Time Masters" was the unofficial team of Rip Hunter, Bonnie Baxter, Corky Baxter, and Jeff Smith. With all time-travelling and hypertimelines involved with these characters, some of their pre-Crisis adventures are seemingly still canonical in some strange way. Jeff Smith was a white guy pre-Crisis, but is black post-Crisis.]
