We do not normally state who has written the profile in the Creatord field, do we? I have seen some version of the infobox where you could state profile author. Wouldn't it be better to but such info there? Or is it removed from the current version of the infobox? --Daha6439 19:29, 24 July 2010 (UTC)

That was a mistake. I have not removed this information from the files but for now I haven't made it part of what shows up in the profiles. Since we'll probably be updating the profiles a lot more now I'm not sure how best to list who has written what aside from looking at the history of the file.--Tenzel Kim 20:11, 24 July 2010 (UTC)
This would be me - Sorry for the confusion.
When copying the profiles from the original DCU Guide I've tried to keep them exactly as they appeared, including who wrote what. In regard to looking at the history of the file, I've loaded many profiles, so I don't want it implied that I'm the originator of the profile. The only changes (addition or removal) of information I've done is in when the prior info is incorrect or incomplete, or some updates to information... or quotes, which I can't quite get the hang of.
I've never heard of some of the characters I've set up profiles for, but I've been trying to mix it up as I like researching and go by the motto, "XXX is someone's favorite character." --DRMOUSE2814 22:40, 24 July 2010 (UTC)
I suggest we use the field Profile written by, and put the original author there (if we have that info). In that field, or a separate one, we could put "revised by XXX" when needed. That type of info would only be entered for big overhauls, not just when someone adds haircolor or fixes typos. What do you think? --Daha6439 09:48, 25 July 2010 (UTC)
Pretty much how I've done it. I've included a line that says "| profile_by =" on some profiles with the name of the original writer. That way the info is there when we figure out how we want to present it. The "| revised_by =" idea could be an idea, as we might be adding info from people posting on the board and not done by the contributors with editor status themselves. --Tenzel Kim 10:21, 25 July 2010 (UTC)
