HISTORY

Talaoc was a Maya king who was made discorporeal spirit and given god-like powers by alien invaders so that they could communicate with him more efficiently. Before the invaders could conquer the Mayans, they fell ill and died, probably from some earthly virus for which their immune systems had no defense. Talaoc then took control over his brother's body and had his people hide the ships and weapons of the invaders within a Maya pyramid.

Five hundred years later, Deadman thwarted the plan of a renegade CIA group to use the alien weapons found within the pyramid for world conquest. Deadman discovered that their leader was under the control of Talaoc, but even as Deadman convinced Talaoc of the error of his ways, the CIA group proceeded on their own. When the accidental start of a spaceship destroyed the pyramid temple, Talaoc finally surrendered to oblivion and went to his final rest.

POWERS AND WEAPONS

:The full extent of his powers are unknown, but they are known to include levitation and the possession of human hosts.

Talaoc's weapon is the mace.
