Synopsis: - Ty thinks that he is rid of the irksome assignment of the retrospective on Superman's death, but Perry White assigns him to cover the funeral as well. Continuing his investigation of the more human side of the events, Ty interviews a priest who ministered to those who died of radiation sickness outside the destroyed Coast City. He then gets a call to an explosion in Metropolis, another along the path of Doomsday's devastation, where he has an angry confrontation with Superman. He reveals to the hero how his father died in the aftermath of Superman's 'death', explaining that he sees Superman as a symbol of death, not of life. He is then captured by the one who has been causing the destruction.
