Synopsis:
- Talok III (in flashback)
- Mikaal Tomas returned from space before Jack did, and this is his story. After a blissful reunion with his lover, Mikaal was awoken by the spirit of David Knight (Jack Knight's brother, the 6th Starman), who prompts him first of all to return to the freak show where he was once imprisoned and then to relive some of the rest of his less-than-glorious stay on Earth.
- Mikaal reveals a new, more serious and confident attitude, but is attacked and taken out by Dr Phosphorous and a number of other villains working under the direction of the Shade. He is left with a warning that he should not get too big for his boots, and to pray that Jack arrives back from space soon.
