HISTORY
The man known as Slim was a French Foreign Legionnaire, who, together with his comrades Pedro and Fred, sacrificed his life in combat against a Nazi Officer named Büehler. Shortly afterwards, the three of them discovered that they still existed on the earthly plane as ghosts.
As the Ghost Patrol, Slim and his spectral friends continued to fight the Axis Powers during World War II. After the end of the War, they became crimefighters. Their current whereabouts, if any, are unknown.
