HISTORY
The psychiatrist that determined the mental health of the various Suicide Squad members stationed at Belle Reve, and provided support for the more troubled members. The conscience of Amanda Waller, he resigned to make his point after she didn't stop Deadshot from going after Rick Flagg, who was chasing Senator Joe Cray.
La Grieve ended up being the founder of the Institute for Meta-Human Studies thanks to an invite from Emily Rice, and aided Martin Stein and Firehawk there. He was saved by Martin Stein after being shot to hide the fact that there may have been a programmable biochemical agent responsible for the creation of both Killer Frosts. Also had contact with Oracle (thanks to the late Flo Crawley), and the Institute was the home for the Captains of Industry (specifically Maser and Major Victory) as they were forming. Simon still works there, as evidenced recently when he called in the Martian Manhunter to pursue Dr. Trapp. He also counted on his wife, Ruth, for his support.
