Synopsis: - Joe White, or the Joker, whoever he really is, explores Castle Arkham, succeeding in killing both Batman and King Joker as he does so, also admiring the line-up of familiar prisoners, ignoring their pleas for help. Taking King Joker's crown, he then...wakes up. Again. Back in the normal (he assumes) Gotham City, where he is told that what he has just experienced was nothing more than a tale told under the influence of a truth drug administered by his men, who wanted to find out where his loot is stashed. For their treachery, the Joker knocks them out with a gas and removes their lips.

Synopsis: - Dominion and the Oblivion Front break into the weapons store at Van Horn Industries, but find themselves opposed by Andrew Van Horn in his persona as Gunfire. With some remote assistance from his colleagues, he takes them down, but the place has been so badly damaged that they're going to have to find somewhere new to base themselves.

Synopsis: - Blue Beetle has come to the Midwest city of Freemont to discover who bought one of his patents. At first the city seems disturbingly quiet, then he discovers why - the police are extremely brutal here. He is forced to escape from them, soon finding himself pursued by the equipment designed from his patent - the Bug airship. Returning to his hotel room unobserved, he thinks himself safe, but the police soon crash in to arrest him.
