HISTORY

Over two hundred years ago, Scylla was invaded by offworlders. They were able to catch Scylla's Green Lantern by surprise. Laham's ring crossed space to find a new Lantern, Waverly Sayre of Earth. Though untrained with the ring, Sayre was able to beat back the invaders.

Waverly Sayre arrives on Scylla

In more recent times, one of Sayre's successors, Hal Jordan of Earth visited Scylla, promising to return. That visit was a few years later, when Quarra the Creator sought to remake the planet. Jordan was a mere nuisance to Quarra who ultimately left Scylla to join with her brothers on Maltus.
