HISTORY
A forgotten hero of the Golden Age entrusted with the power of the Ancient Egyptian artefact of the Scarabeus, which may have some connection with Nabu, the Lord of Order who empowers Dr Fate.
Scarab worked with the Justice Society of America on a case in the early 1950's involving the King of Tears, whose agent, Johnny Sorrow, had killed Scarab's team-mates in the Seven Shadows. Scarab was recently called in to assist the new JSA in their quest for the Fate child, and worked with Kent Nelson to help them from behind the scenes. However, he was attacked and stripped of his power by Mordru and was only able to watch as the decisive battles were fought. His bad luck didn't end there...as Johhny Sorrow chose him as the vessel through which the King of Tears would enter the world.
