HISTORY
4,000 years ago, the Ruby of Life was kept in the temple of Asyath, goddess of the Triparanes. Various conquests and thefts led to the Ruby ending up in the possession of the Aztecs. In 1917, the archaeologist Richard Sargent found the Ruby in Mexico and presented it to his fiancee who wore it around the neck. The Ruby was the first object that their son John consciously saw and touched. As an adult, John Sargent gained mystical power from the gem and became Sargon the Sorceror, wearing the Ruby in his turban. Although the Gem corrupted Sargon for some time, he acted primarily as a hero until the time of his death. Later, Tim Hunter was offered the power of the Ruby but rejected it. The Ruby was originally carved from the same stone as the Ring of Life.
