HISTORY

A Green Lantern, Porter also had the ability to teleport himself and four or five other Lanterns vast distances across space. When a small group of his fellow ring wielders were pinned down on the planet Xabas, some three hours from Oa in Sector 3599, Porter did not hesitate to teleport thirty of his comrades. This was a great strain on Porter, presumably causing internal injuries. As the situation on Xabas worsened, he attempted to teleport all the Lanterns back to Oa. He was only partially successful. Porter never knew this as Guy Gardner told the critically injured Lantern he had saved them all. It is not known if Porter's injuries were fatal.
