HISTORY

Pog was the leader of a small group of alien animal-like critters who traveled in their giant turtle-ship on an expedition to find themselves a new "lady", i.e. a home planet. Pog and his compatriots had seen their own world corrupted, polluted and torn by war, and had now found hope in Earth as their new home.

Landing in the swamps of Louisiana, Pog encountered the Swamp Thing and learned from him that Earth was not a better place than the one they had left. Simultaneously, Pog’s crocodile-like friend Bartle went on reconnoitering in the swamps and was delighted to find "siblings" - the alligators of the bayou. Swimming out to the gators, Bartle was killed and devoured by them. The heart-broken Pog and his crew left Earth, still nurturing the hope that they would someday find a place of peace...
