Comment(s):
- For the Planet of the Apes continuity, this story takes place in the universe of the 1968 Planet of the Apes movie, rather than the 2001 or 2011 franchise reboots, the 1974 Planet of the Apes television series or 1975 Return to the Planet of the Apes cartoon series. More specifically, the story takes place after events of the 1968 movie, but before the 1970 movie Beneath the Planet of the Apes. The year 3978 is taken from the 1968 movie.
- For chronology and consistency with the rest of the DCU Guide, it is assumed this story features a version of the "New 52 DC Universe" as references are made to Guy Gardner having been a Red Lantern, the appearance of Red Lantern Rankorr, yet the appearance of the Guardians of the Universe who in the New 52 had been slain prior to Guy becoming a Red Lantern.
- Story continues from the previous issue and continues in the next issue.
