HISTORY

Perduron was a sentient planet existing in the previous universe. An unidentified alien species represented by Marinel convinced the planet that their universe was dying and together they created the Last City. For thousands of years they crossed the universe, gathering the last survivors. Another threat came in the form of the Blackest Knights Originally appearing as allies, Perduron began to wither as the Knights turned the population of the Lost City against Marinel, forcing her underground.

In the final days of that previous universe, an emerald light shined in the void. The Green Lantern Corps had been taken from their home universe and scattered across space. Mogo, also a sentient planet and a Lantern, shed his light across space as a beacon for his fellow lost ring wielders. The Green Lanterns found themselves in conflict with Marinel as they did not understand the nature of the threat posed by the Blackest Knights.
