HISTORY

Ages ago, the Earth Elementals of our planet divided into two factions. One became known as the Parliament of Trees, incarnations of the plant life and servants of the Green. A lesser group became the Parliament of Stones, the champions of minerals and seismic powers of Earth. In recent times, the Parliament of Stones put a plan into motion which culminated in the alliance of all elemental Parliaments in an attempt to re-make the world. The Parliament of Stones was destroyed by the Heavenly power known as the Word (I), but not until they had passed on their power to the Swamp Thing (IV).

The Parliament of Stones had an agent called the Traveller, and later made the recently-deceased game hunter Nelson Strong their elemental champion.
