HISTORY

In the early 1970s, the renowned and handsome surgeon known as "Doc" Goodie was aboard a space probe crashing on the surface of Venus. He would have faced a certain death had he not been rescued by aliens. The aliens saved the Doctor’s life, re-built his body with advanced cybernetics, but also remade it in their own image, making him hideously disfigured by human standards. From that day, Goodie dedicated his life to contacting "freaks" like himself. Years later, his team of "Outsiders" consisted of: "Lizard Johnny" – a human/lizard halfbreed with a poisonous tongue; "the Amazing Ronnie" – one-eyed and four-armed knuckle fighter; "Mighty Mary" – a blonde beauty blessed with super-strength but cursed with the arms and legs of an amphibian; "Hairy Larry", the Wheeler Dealer – a disfigured man rolling on four wheels that seemed attached to his body; and finally Billy – an young boy with an abnormally big and invulnerable head. Goodie – now calling himself "Doc Scary" – inspired them all to do good in a human society that did not want them around.

No activities of the original Outsiders have been recorded since their first outings.
