HISTORY
A planet in the Procyan system, the first recorded mention of which was during the Justice League of America's initial clash with the Manhunters. A shocked Hal Jordan proclaimed that he resigned as a Green Lantern since he had accidentally destroyed the whole planet with his power ring. Later, it was revealed that Orinda had survived and that its destruction was a trick made by the Manhunters in order keep Jordan from interfering with their plans. Still later, it was revealed that the real Orinda was actually the homebase of the Manhunters, cloaked and hidden for the rest of the universe. During the Millennium event, a task force of powerful heroes was sent to Orinda and destroyed most or all of the Manhunters. Shortly afterwards, the planet self-destructed.
