HISTORY

A powerful morphing battlesuit invented by the parents of Jarras Minion, scientists on the planet Talyn. When Talyn was attacked by Psimon, Minion’s mother placed him into the Omegadrome. He mentally bonded with it and escaped the destruction of his homeworld.

Vowing revenge, he tracked Psimon to Earth, and joined up with the New Titans to defeat the villain. Minion continued to serve with the Titans, but later gave the Omagadrome to his teammate Vic Stone (then known as Cyberion), as a gift.

Over time, Cyberion grew less human and more technological, and in a confused state, intended to turn Earth’s moon into a new Technis world (a technological world he had once been part of). The Titans and the JLA intervened and managed to download Vic's soul into the Omegadrome. Now a golden metal man, Cyborg wielded all of the Omegadrome’s powers, but his human mind was restored.

Still later, his metal body was implanted into a clone of his real body, allowing him to take a human appearance. However, during a clash with the Thinker, Cyborg was once again stuck in his half-human form. The Omegadrome is still part of Cyborg’s body, but has lost its morphing abilities.
