- Lobo's origin is given in this issue, in which he is part of a race called Velorpians. The Psions experimented on the Velorpians, genetically altering the species so they would not create more Velorpians from a drop of blood. The post-Crisis origin of Lobo, both in his appearance and history as a Czarnian would be greatly different.
