HISTORY

When the Sandman of the Endless was imprisoned by mortals in 1916, the world called the Dreaming degenerated and some of its inhabitants left for other realms. After decades of boredom, the two nightmare creatures named Brute and Glob created a "Dreamworld" of their own by occupying the mind of the orphan Jed Paulsen. They then manipulated scientist Garrett Sanford to become the "Sandman" of their little universe.

The false Sandman and Jed embarked on many exciting adventures in their dreamworld. One of their allies was "the Nightmare Wizard", an elderly magician who lived in "the Fantasy Forest". It is not known whether the Nightmare Wizard was the creation of Brute and Glob or another dream creature employed by them. He has not been seen since the real Sandman returned and ended Brute’s and Glob’s abusive activities.
