OVERVIEW

Maya may, or may not, be an incarnation of the Hindu deity Shiva. Her powers manifested suddenly during adolescence, and tend to increase in sudden spurts. At first taking the form of a bow and arrows of mystic flame or water, her abilities have increased to the point where she can emit or control large quantities of these ancient elements. She served for a time with Justice League International. She later moved back to her native country India with her parents. She has since made occasional appearances during times of need.
