HISTORY
The elephant-like Komeriah claim to be the descendants of the Hindu god Ganesha, and live in the sacred dimension of Tamaonash, "the Battlelands", which Shiva is said to have prepared for his children. "Komeriah" means "Thoroughbred", the denomination for the highest caste of elephants in India (often used for war elephants in ancient times). The Komeriah have long been the slaves of the humanoid Makhna ("the tuskless"), but with the help of Hawkman, their fight for freedom is now ongoing. Among known Komeriah individuals are Aalok.
