Synopsis: - As Batman returns to the JLA, things get worse: the moon is half-composed of green cheese and Vishnu might awaken any moment. Wonder Woman goes to Jarhanpur where she begs Rama Khan to help her come to a peaceful solution of their differences, but he refuses: all that matters is the well-being of his nation. She is soon joined by her team-mates who are finding that they are gradually becoming facsimiles of the way the public thinks of them. Eventually Diana realizes that it was her putting her own beliefs above the objective truth which caused the problem. She begs forgiveness from the land of Jarhanpur, which grants it, but the leader Rama Khan refuses to accept this. As he in turn places his own priorities above the truth, the land begins to crumble; there are no casualties, but the nation is left desolate. Diana returns the young child who is Rama Khan's heir to his mother until such a time as he can make a decision for himself about his future.
