JLA #17 - Syndicate Rules ([November] 2005)

Synopsis:

Flash was supposed to accompany the group of past and present members of the Justice League that headed for the Crime Syndicate's world, but he was contacted by the Construct, now a developed society of artificial intelligences. Meanwhile, in Hong Kong, Aquaman and the Elite clear up after their encounter with the Syndicate, and the Leaguers in space are able to talk to the Qwardians. The Qwardians learn that Earth was not responsible for the death and rebirth of their universe and they turn aside the wrath of the Void Hound, taking it to the Crime Syndicate's world, to punish them for their attack on Qward. Batman, who has been disguised as the Martian Manhunter so that the Syndicate would not learn that a League telepath was on their world, organizes care for the wounded, and takes those who are still able to fight into the negative universe, to save the Crime Syndicate from the Void Hound.
