OVERVIEW

Fearing humanity's potential due to the discovery of the meta-gene, the Earth is invaded by an unprecedented alliance of alien forces.

HISTORY

Though Earth had been invaded by extraterrestrial forces numerous times, the Dominator-led invasion saw Earth under siege by an unprecedented alliance between numerous alien species.

Following the Crisis on Infinite Earths, the Guardians of the Universe withdrew to another dimension, returning briefly during the event known as the Millennium to prophesize Earth would be the home of the next species to evolve to their level of power. This greatly disturbed the more hostile alien races, seeing the unpredictable "backwater planet" as a future threat.

The Dominators took humans for experimentation, subjecting them to brutal testing such as their infamous blaster field. This yielded a startling result to the Dominators, 14% of the human test population developed meta-powers. Fearing the potential of Earth, the Dominators formed the alliance of like-minded alien races.

CHRONOLOGY

This event was preceded by Cosmic Odyssey and followed by Janus Directive.
