HISTORY

The city-ship of Haven, filled with Competalian refugees from the tyrant Anathema, collided with Earth, skidding its way to the Pacific Coast. Over a million Havenites died in the journey and several American towns were levelled. The combined efforts of the JLA and the heroes of Haven known as the Alliance were able to slow the city's arc across North America. Haven found its final resting place over what was once Coast City, and built up diplomatic links with the nations of Earth, particularly the United States, on whose soil it rests. Since Coast City has since been rebuilt it must be assumed that the city-ship was eventually fixed and that the Havenites have departed Earth.
