HISTORY

Staq Mavlin a.k.a. Fire Lad was a native of Shwar in the 30th century and gained the ability to breathe flames after he accidentally inhaled the toxic fumes of a fallen meteor. Rejected for membership in the Legion of Super-Heroes, he joined Polar Boy to create the Legion of Substitute Heroes.
