HISTORY

Used primarily by the New Gods, the Boom Tube allows transportation from one location to another through a spontaneously generated localized wormhole. It is so named after the loud "BOOM" sound which accompanies its creation as the large volume of air it displaces.

The Boom Tube is primarily controlled by a Mother Box though some of the New Gods have added the circuitry to their clothes. It is powered by the rare X-Element which is only found on New Genesis or Apokolips. Fortunately, only a small amount of X-Element is needed as it is extremely unstable and must be held within a containment field, which can be generated by a Mother Box.

A Boom Tube can be used to transport a single being, or an entire army.
