HISTORY

The Black Mercy plants are the empathic offspring of the plant known as Mother Mercy. They were seeded by Mother Mercy and upon maturity they were sent to the stars with a mission to alleviate pain and suffering from the sick and the dying. At one point the home planet of the Black Mercy plants was discovered by Mongul who harvested the plants for his own evil ends. Recently Mongul II used his Sinestro Corps rings to manipulate the plants from being dream weavers to fearmongers to help him spread fear throughout the universe.
