Synopsis: - Batman encounters a private investigator who is trying to help a dying woman track down her son, who was kidnapped seven years ago at the age of three. He breaks into a federal building to track down the original suspect, whom he determines to be innocent, and the two of them then work to track down the real culprit - a woman whose own son had gone missing, and kidnapped the boy as a replacement. The boy is reunited with his mother, not knowing who she is, for a brief moment before she dies. The woman keeps custody of the boy, and Batman feels his work is done.
