Synopsis: - Gotham City has been plagued with numerous killings - women left in dumpsters by an unknown serial killer, and the latest victim, Kate Babcock, is someone Batman knew. He and the police are determined to track down the person responsible, and he is given a lead by Elmore, a senile homeless man of his acquaintance, who has taken the latest body as his 'wife'. Following up the leads, Batman is led to the body of police officer Victor Giambattista and then to his cousin Vito Procaccini. He believes that Vito and his friend Karl Branneck are responsible for the killings, but as yet he has no proof.
