HISTORY

The beings called the Aurakles are one of the earliest sentient races of the Universe, born in energy form at the beginning of creation. In recent times, one of their numbers became fascinated by the lives of organic beings. Witnessing the death of Earth girl Violet Harper, this Aurakle reached out and merged with her. The Aurakle gave Harper new life but was permanently trapped in her body. Gaining energy powers from the merging, the Violet Harper/Aurakle amalgam became known as the superheroine Halo, a member of the Outsiders. Later, the rest of the race of Aurakles sought to 'reclaim' their missing comrade, but were fought back by the Outsiders.
