OVERVIEW

After becoming a student at Ivy University, Ryan Choi gained Ray Palmer as a mentor and close friend. He would help Ray Palmer and eventually, once Ray Palmer disappeared into the Mircoverse, became the Atom and soon a member of the Justice League of America.

HISTORY

Ryan Choi started going to Ivy University in New England, just as he dreamed of as a kid. Soon after, he became friends with Ray Palmer a professor at Ivy University who was secretly working on a Bio-Belt that allowed the wearer the ability to change in size. As Ray Palmer went out as the superhero known as the Atom, Ryan Choi would help him as he would stop enemies at microscopic size.

Ray Palmer's Disappearance

Ryan Choi stepped into Ray Palmer's lab and saw nothing but the Bio-Belt and a video on the computer screen. The video showed Ray Palmer tell him that he was lost in the Mircoverse and that Ryan has to save him. Unknowning what to do, Ryan practiced in the suit and eventually was recruited into the JLA.

POWERS AND WEAPONS

Ryan Choi's Bio-Belt allows him to shrink to any size with some limitations at extremely small sizes.
