Synopsis: - Buddy joins an illegal animal activist group in a mission to free abused test apes from a research lab. Afterwards, they burn the lab down. Lennox confronts the Mirror Master in Glasgow to get his hands on the layouts of the Bakers' house. Mirror Master refuses, and Lennox fails in his attempt to take it by force from the powerful super-villain. Later, Buddy is shocked by the news that three firemen were critically hurt in the fire that he was partly responsible for. The conscience is too much for him to bear and he decides to quit being Animal Man. The decision, however, is interrupted by the arrival of James Highwater – whose lower body now only consists of sketchy, penciled lines...
