Synopsis: - The military betrays the Un-Men and intends to keep them in their custody. Damien takes Dr. Manguy hostage to free his frozen Un-Men parents, only to discover that Crassus has done the same thing – with Dr. Hutcheson as hostage. But when they are freed, Scylla realizes what Crassus in his anger has not understood – that the frozen Un-Men have no desire to live. Horrified, Crassus, Damien and the others watch all the formerly captured Un-Men commit suicide by attacking the US Soldiers and getting killed. Crassus insanely kills several humans, including Hutcheson, in return. When Scylla is killed in the crossfire, Damien angrily stops the battle and everyone comes to their senses. The Un-Men (as well as the human "freaks") win a bittersweet victory as their existence is no longer kept a secret from the media. Getting support from the public, they finally get their own reservation to live in. Damien mutates more into a freak for every day that passes, but lives an endurable life together with his likes.
