Synopsis: - Superman offers his help to S.T.A.R. Labs to help combat the ongoing problem of Anti-Chromatic Syndrome which is afflicting various super-heroes, and is shocked to see that the latest victim is a resident of Heroville. He travels there with some of the S.T.A.R. scientists, and discovers that the Hollow Men, protagonists of a Ben Conrad novel, whose aim is to literally homogenize society, are behind this, and have attacked many of the Heroville heroes. One of the survivors, Kid Scout, volunteers to search for Conrad and bring him here to confront his creations, while Superman reveals to Heroville's founder, Dr. Camel, that in the book, the Hollow Men could not be defeated.
